Chris Wilder will give both Enda Stevens and Ethan Ampadu every chance to prove their fitness ahead of the game with Leicester this weekend.
The Blades boss, speaking in his presser today, confirmed that both players have had knocks but refused to rule either player out.
Stevens, in particular, is looking likely to play, with Wilder admitting ‘there’s a chance’ when it comes to the Irishman.
Ampadu, meanwhile, is training but Wilder confirmed he will be a late call, likely on the day.

“We’ll give Enda the opportunity of being involved in the squad. There’s a chance there with him,” Wilder said.
“Ethan has been training as well. He’s another one and we’ll have to make a late decision on him”.
The defensive duo being fit would provide a timely boost to proceedings for United, who have been struggling with their back three and five all season.
Ampadu is expected to play left centre-back if fit, while Stevens will slot in for Max Lowe in his natural wing-back position if selected.
If not, Kean Bryan and Max Lowe are likely to once again be up for selection after both starting at West Brom last weekend.

Playing Leicester is no easy task and we’re going to need our best players fit and ready to go if we’re to take something from the game.
Having Stevens back and in his preferred wing-back role will be massive, while Ampadu’s athleticism and calmness on the ball should help as well.
We’ll wait and see, but Wilder doesn’t normally give much away unless he has an inkling. It seemed, then, that the Blades boss had a positive feeling about this particular pair here.
