Sheffield United have completed a deal to bring Sampdoria midfielder, Ronaldo Vieira, to Bramall Lane.
The Blades have been tracking Vieira for a few weeks now and a move is all but done and completed, bar the official announcement.
That’s according to respected Italian journalist Nicolo Schira anyway, who has taken to Twitter to claim that United’s deal for Vieira is complete.
Schira’s word can be taken as being accurate on this one, given he was one of the very first to break the initial news about Vieira to United.
The former Leeds midfielder is set to join United on loan, with a view to a permanent transfer at the end of the season.

Wheels in motion
Slavisa Jokanovic confirmed in his press conference earlier today that signings were close, and it looks like Vieira will be first in the building.
It’s highly unlikely we see him for a few games at least, however. He’ll have to pass quarantine rules in the UK for a start, and then take some time to get up to speed with the club.

But, it’s a good start for United and proves that wheels are indeed in motion in the background when it comes to new signings.
Vieira will provide depth and competition in midfield. He’ll be hoping to put an injury-hit season last term behind him as well.
