The future of Daniel Jebbison has been at the forefront of Sheffield United fans’ minds this week, amid reports Everton are interested in him.
Reports yesterday from TeamTalk suggested the Toffees have made a £5m bid for Jebbison. United are said to have rejected that offer. The club valuing the teenager at far more.

Jebbison was given the start last night as United took on Derby County in the League Cup. He was withdrawn at the break, although Slavisa Jokanovic insisted it was simply a tactical decision with the Blades 1-0 down.
Prior to the game, however, we posed the question to Sheffield United fans via our official Twitter account as to what the Blades should do with Jebbison, amid Everton’s interest. And it seems the results are pretty unanimous from over 300 Blades fans who voted.
MORE UNITED STORIES
Some 72% of Blades fans feel ‘Jebbo’ should be in the first-team. Worryingly for fan morale, less than 10% feel he should be sold. Of course, a loan move could prove sensible. Which is a take some 19% of Unitedites agree with.
What next for Jebbison and Sheffield United?
While clearly, some of the Sheffield United fan base have spoken when it comes to Jebbison, the club still needs to make a decision.
Jebbison is a massive talent. Jokanovic said as much last night and he also appeared to suggest he’d heard nothing of interest from Everton, Leeds, or those other clubs mentioned.
If the club chooses to sell, it’s vital we get a big fee. Yes, he’s only played a handful of games. But we’ve seen how quickly some former Blades have developed into PL stars.

The current Blades forwards – barring Billy Sharp – are not firing. There is, then, a strong case to put him in the first-team.
For what it’s worth, our opinion at Sheffield United.News is very much in the sending out on loan camp. Jebbison would flourish in the right loan spell in League One. In our opinion, that’s the best option.
But for the majority of Blades fans in this poll, it’s clear as to how they’d like to see Daniel Jebbison used.
