Sheffield United skipper Billy Sharp hit the 100 league goal mark for the club with his penalty against Newcastle.
The skipper, often on the periphery of proceedings since we arrived in the Premier League, tucked away at Bramall Lane to finally give United their first three points of the campaign.
Sharp’s composure under pressure and ability to find the back of the net that night summed up his time in red and white, especially his time under Chris Wilder.
The Blades’ official Twitter account ran a feature yesterday where they showed all 100 of Sharp’s goals and it made for nostalgic and exciting viewing for fans at a time when there’s little to cheer.
SAKA, ANTONY AND 10 PREMIER LEAGUE STARS HEADING TO THEIR FIRST WORLD CUP
Among the strikes was the opening day equaliser at Bournemouth last season, a late winner at home to Norwich, and a hat-trick away at Aston Villa.
But picking a favourite from them is hard and Blades fans, as you’ll see here, had more than one opinion on Sharp’s finest moment in a Sheffield United shirt.
Here’s a look, then, at what some Blades fans picked out as their favourite Sharp goals out of his century.

Very hard to choose a special goal from Billy Sharp, but still clear in my mind is the 1against Norwich at home last season, a diving header with so much power. Wow.
