Sheffield United forward, Callum Robinson, is hoping to get even more goals after scoring his first goal for West Brom yesterday.
Robinson curled beautifully into the top corner to give the Baggies a 1-0 lead against Nottingham Forest. It was a deserved goal, too, for Robinson, who has put in some fine displays since joining in January.

The Blades forward made his third consecutive start for Slaven Bilic and repaid the Croatian manager with another fine display. However, Robinson was pleased his performance finally had a goal to show for it.
“It was really nice to get a goal and help the team get a result,” Robinson said. (WBA Official)

“We are obviously frustrated to lose a goal so late on but on a personal note I was pleased to score my first goal for the club. Hopefully, a few more can follow now alongside the performances I’ve been putting in for the team.”
The finish from Robinson was akin to those he scored for Preston North End last season. He took up a nice position just to the left of the area and capitalised on a defensive mishap to fire home.
Exactly what Chris Wilder will have wanted
Blades boss Wilder has said all along he sees Robinson as part of his long-term plans at Bramall Lane. He’ll have loved nothing more, then, than to see his striker get off the mark for the Baggies.

As mentioned, it was a deserved goal for the summer signing. He’s played well in Albion’s last two games but not got his rewards. His finish here, though, showed a man who has belief in his ability.
Robinson clearly relished hitting the net, too. After scoring just once in the Premier League for United, he’ll have felt that goal was a long time coming.
Hopefully, as he says, he can continue to score the goals and help fire the Baggies to promotion.
