Blades striker Lys Mousset should recover from injury in time to face Aston Villa this weekend.

The Frenchman hobbled off at Carrow Road at the weekend after falling awkwardly. It wasn’t the first time Mousset has gone down injured this season either. That led to concerns amongst some fans that he was injury-prone.
However, his manager Chris Wilder has moved to update Blades fans on Mousset’s condition.
“He [Mousset] will be okay. He didn’t train much late on in the week, which was disappointing. But he’ll be fine. The bereavement hit him quite hard but he wanted to play at Norwich.” Wilder said (Sheffield Star).
Mousset has been in fine form for the Blades this season. He’s already scored five goals, including a stunning effort into the bottom corner against Manchester United.
MORE UNITED STORIES

After signing from Bournemouth in the summer, Mousset has worked hard at his fitness. Since declaring himself fully-fit, he has formed quite the partnership with fellow striker, David McGoldrick.
Having Mousset available this weekend against Aston Villa could prove crucial for the Blades as they look to improve their home record.
How important is having Lys Mousset back from injury for Sheffield United?
The Blades are hardly lighting up the goalscoring charts in the Premier League. Therefore, having the player who has scored over a quarter of your league goals, is pretty important.
Mousset has quickly become a fan favourite, too. Seeing his name on the teamsheet seems to immediately lift the Bramall Lane crowd.

With Tyrone Mings set to be missing for Aston Villa, Mousset’s pace in behind could be a real difference-maker.
Fellow strikers Oli McBurnie, Callum Robinson, Billy Sharp, and David McGoldrick have all contributed at times, but none have really got going in terms of goalscoring.
Having Lys Mousset fit and firing is crucial for Sheffield United as they look to pick up points over the busy Christmas period.
