Sheffield United apparently have the ball in their court when it comes to signing Rhian Brewster, with Liverpool said to be open to selling to the Blades.
An exclusive report from Yorkshire Live suggests that officials at Anfield have told United that Brewster is ours, as long as we can come up with the appropriate transfer figure.

It is claimed that Liverpool want a token fee upfront for Brewster and are even willing to allow United to then structure the deal in a way they see fit for the rest of the money. Furthermore, it is believed Brewster favours a move to Bramall Lane ahead of the likes of Crystal Palace and Aston Villa.
The update swings the pendulum the opposite way to that of which previous reports have claimed. Prior to this, it was widely believed that Liverpool were holding things up, apparently unwilling to make a decision on Brewster.
But United have yet to make an offer according to this, leaving officials on Merseyside frustrated at the lack of progress.
MORE UNITED STORIES
This is a huge shame if true and it doesn’t get done
This story has swung one way then the other on an almost daily basis but it now seems as if United have all the power if they are serious about doing a deal.
Chris Wilder alluded to it in his pre-match presser, but we have to keep moving forward. Other clubs are adding to their squads and we could end up being left behind.

The club needs a striker and quickly. The board have been brilliant in the past so we can only hope that Prince Abdullah once again finds the funds to back Wilder.
Until then, Blades fans will have to sit and bite their nails that little bit longer.
