Sheffield United limped to another defeat against Southampton today, as the Saints essentially cruised past the Blades at Bramall Lane.
Chris Wilder once again went with 3-5-2 and this time it failed to pay off, as goals from James Ward-Prowse and then Che Adams sealed the deal.
The strike from Adams was a wonder goal. But it came from another series of mistakes, including a woeful piece of play from wantaway midfielder, John Lundstram.
And while on this site we usually steer clear of direct criticism of individuals, we cannot ignore the reaction Lundstram has got on social media today.

The midfielder clearly doesn’t want to be at Bramall Lane anymore and his refusal to sign a new deal has been a dark cloud over an even darker season for Chris Wilder’s side.
Twitter, then, was awash with comments criticising Lundstram today, as a number of Blades fans took time out to vent their frustrations.
Here’s a look at what was being said, with some of the ‘nicer’ comments included away from some of the personal abuse aimed at Lundstram.
I never want to see Lundstram in a Sheffield United shirt every again…

Very rare i comment on here but that was an absolute shambles of a performance! Lundstram should never put on a united shirt again, closely followed by a few others!#twitterblades

Lundstram’s performance today is an absolute disgrace. It’s really annoyed me more than the result . Just get him gone . #twitterblades

Hope Lundstram isn’t thinking of signing that contract. He needs to walk and never come back.

Lundstram has put in without doubt one of the worst performances I’ve ever seen from a United player, It’s an insult to Osborn that he’s playing.
