David McGoldrick was among the pick of the bunch again for Sheffield United at Brighton yesterday.
‘Didzy’, was once again United’s shining light in attack. He started up top, before dropping deeper as a number ten before covering out on the left after John Lundstram had seen red and Wilder opted to change shape.

McGoldrick has been exceptional for a few weeks now. Leading from the front, the experienced forward is doing his utmost to ensure the Blades at least make a fight of staying in the Premier League.
His display at Brighton, quite rightly, caught the attention of Unitedites on social media, too, with a number of fans taking to Twitter to sing the praises of McGoldrick.
It seems, then, that amidst all the frustration and disappointment of not hanging on for that elusive win, Sheffield United supporters love David McGoldrick more than ever.
