Sheffield United might have had a more positive result this weekend against Luton but the bad news on the injury front just continues to come.
The Blades have been hammered by injuries this season as the conditioning of the players and the fitness regime has come under scrutiny from a number of supporters.
Chris Wilder has even suggested it’s something he is looking at closely. Indeed, it was a problem under Paul Heckingbottom, who frequently blamed the pitch at Shirecliffe before using £2m of his budget to get it fixed.
However, that hasn’t helped £20m striker Rhian Brewster. The forward pulled up in training again last week and according to Alan Nixon, he could be out for another three months.

The journalist has said that Brewster faces between two and three months out with a fresh hamstring problem. The news effectively backs up Wilder saying last weekend that the club might simply shut him down for the season in order to try and get him right for next year.
It is another bitter blow though, for both Brewster and United. It seems he cannot get a stroke of luck when he needs one, and neither can the team.
Rhian Brewster has a massive summer ahead of him
There surely isn’t a fan out there now who doesn’t feel at least a little bit sorry for Rhian Brewster right now.
This is now four times he has done his hamstrings and we are at a point where you feel like it’s not just about Sheffield United, but about a young man actually having a career in the game.
Brewster had looked so good away at Wolves and there was a big hope he’d finally got everything behind him and goals would start to flow.
This summer, then, feels massive. The medical team have to get things right for Rhian and it’s really make or break now for him in terms of his career.
