Daniel Jebbison proved the only bright spark on yet another miserable day at the office for this Sheffield United team.
The sooner the season comes to an end, the better, it seems. The Blades were abysmal today and never laid a glove on a Crystal Palace who have hardly pulled up any trees themselves this term.
Only a handful of United players could really come out of this game with their heads remotely high. George Baldock huffed and puffed on the right, while Ben Osborn did ok when he came on. Apart from that, it was left to young debutant, Daniel Jebbison, to show any more positivity.
The teenager was introduced with around 30 minutes to play and nearly scored with a header, too. He showed some nice touches, too, and busted a gut at one point to try and get on the end of a David McGoldrick pass.

Jebbison impressed some United fans with his display, with Twitter full of comments singing his praises. Indeed, some were quick to point out that he’d offered more in his quick cameo than the likes of Oliver Burke had done all game.
Here’s a look at what some Blades fans had to say on social media, as Daniel Jebbison got a Sheffield United debut.
That Jebbison lad actually looks like he’s gonna be a serious player in the future! #SHUCRY

Pathetic performance, I’ve no idea how Heckingbottom can be in the running for the job. Only bright sparks Rambo & Jebbison who frankly did more in 30 mins than most our strikers done for weeks #twitterblades

Dan Jebbison comes on for his Prem debut and looks good. Why not do the same with Brunt instead of Lunny?

Jebbison above burke in the pecking order. Did more in 30 minutes than burke
