Predicted Sheffield United XI v Aston Villa: Two changes, Burke and Osborn start

Sheffield United host Aston Villa this evening desperate to give themselves something to shout about after a miserable Premier League season.

Four consecutive losses have put an end to any sort of faint hopes the Blades had of maintaining their Premier League status. Chris Wilder’s men sit 15 points from safety, with just 12 games remaining.

Tonight is a second home game in succession following the disappointing loss against Liverpool on Sunday. However, Chris Wilder will have seen some encouraging signs against the Reds, and will be hoping a Jack Grealish-less Villa can be got at.

Wilder has already admitted he is down to the bare bones in terms of squad selection. The biggest calls, then, will likely be up front as Wilder continues to search for the best pairing at the top of the pitch.

One other change could come at left wing-back. Enda Stevens has struggled immensely of late, meaning Ben Osborn could get the nod this evening.

With that, here’s our predicted XI for Sheffield United this evening, as we foresee two changes for the Blades against Villa.
