Sheffield United travel to Liverpool tomorrow for a tough old assignment as Chris Wilder goes in search of his team’s first win of the season.
The Reds were one of the few teams to do the double over the Blades last season. A tight 1-0 win at Bramall Lane was followed up by a more comprehensive 2-0 victory for Jurgen Klopp’s men at Anfield.

Both sides have a number of injury problems going into the fixture. For United, O’Connell, Fleck, and Mousset are long-term absentees, while Oliver Burke may miss out again while Max Lowe also has a suspected concussion.
Wilder, then, may well have to change a few things once again, although he does have Rhian Brewster more or less fully-fit following another weeks’ training at Shirecliffe.

With that, here’s how we see Wilder going, with Enda Stevens also maintaining place at centre-back at the expense of Jack Robinson, and Ben Osborn slotting into a position he filled well at times last season.
