The Blades welcome City to Bramall Lane looking for their first win of the season but can have some hope following a much-improved performance at Liverpool last weekend.
However, the week leading up to the City game has been dominated by news of John Lundstram rejecting a new contract, a decision which has not gone down well with Wilder whatsoever.

The Blades boss, then, faces a tough decision but hinted in midweek that he now needs to stand behind the players who want to be here, rather than someone who isn’t quite 100% committed to the cause.

With that, despite depleted numbers, we feel Lundstram will lose his place in the starting XI today, with Max Lowe returning and Ben Osborn slotting into the left side of midfield.
