Sheffield United take on Fulham this weekend in what is a must-win game for the Blades following their miserable start to the season.

Four consecutive losses this season strapped onto three from last season mean it’s now seven without a win for Chris Wilder, his worst run since taking over as manager of the club.

However, the Blades got themselves off the mark at Arsenal in terms of goals at least, and will see the clash with Fulham as a chance to go out and attack a team who are struggling even more.

The international break has not been a kind one, though. John Egan could miss out through self-isolation, while John Fleck, Oliver Burke, and David McGoldrick have all picked up knocks.

It could mean a reshuffle then for Wilder, especially if no defender is signed by Friday. But a debut for Rhian Brewster should bring some positive news, while Aaron Ramsdale saved a penalty for the England under-21s in midweek.

Here, then, is our predicted XI for the clash with the Cottagers at Bramall Lane this weekend.
