Liverpool are the opponents for Sheffield United this weekend as the Reds look to add to the two wins against the Blades from last term.

Jurgen Klopp’s side come into the game off the back of a season-rocking injury to Virgil van Dijk but also safe in the knowledge they saw off Ajax 1-0 in midweek in the Champions League.

It’s a game that the Reds will be expected to win, in all honesty. United, on the other hand, will have to try their best to contain a Liverpool side filled with speed, quality, and attacking intent.

Klopp has a number of selection calls to make. Sadio Mane picked up a knock in midweek, while Joel Matip and Thiago Alcantara both missed the trip to Amsterdam. Some fringe players are also knocking on the door, while Roberto Firmino has yet to score this term.

With that, we think Klopp could opt for a bit of rotation. That should see Diogo Jota come into the fold, following his £45m signing from Wolves this summer.

Here, then, is our predicted XI for Liverpool as they take on the Blades tomorrow.
