Sheffield United travel to Liverpool this evening looking for a massive performance to try and get their second point of the season or more on the board.
Chris Wilder’s men face their toughest test of the season so far, with Anfield proving a near impossible place for teams to pick points up from in the last two seasons.
The Blades boss has a number of injury problems. Jack O’Connell, John Fleck, and Lys Mousset are out for considerable periods, while there are question marks on another few players.
Burke and Lowe to miss out?
After being given a full debut last week, Max Lowe looks set to miss out this evening with concussion. The protocols ensure that Lowe cannot be selected, meaning Enda Stevens may drop back into his usual wing-back role.
Up front, there was no sign of Oliver Burke this week in the training images and videos released by the club on social media.
Burke came home early from international duty with Scotland and didn’t feature at all against Fulham last weekend.
It looks increasingly likely, then, that the 23-year-old will be unavailable today.
Burke’s absence should ensure a debut for Rhian Brewster from the start. The 20-year-old will, in all likelihood, partner Oli McBurnie, as the Blades look to exploit the lack of Virgil van Dijk for Liverpool.
