Crystal Palace are expected to make new signings on deadline day ahead of facing Sheffield United in the Premier League.

The Blades travel to Selhurst Park at 3pm on Saturday and Palace will hope to have some new faces to call upon by then. As yet, the South London club have completed just one first team deal during the January transfer window. That was the loan signing of Cenk Tosun from Everton.

Unfortunately for them, the Daily Mail reports Tosun will not be available for the weekend because the striker has a hamstring injury. Mamadou Sakho and Jeffrey Schlupp are their long-term injuries.

In better news for Roy Hodgson, they will have five other players back from injury or suspension to face United. Christian Benteke, Andros Townsend, Patrick van Aanholt and Joel Ward are all back to fitness.

Luka Milivojevic can also be picked after serving his three-match ban.

It is looking like Nathan Ferguson will complete his switch from West Bromwich Albion, as reported by BBC Sport. The defender is signing for a fee that could eventually rise to £10m.

West Brom preferred Ferguson to join the Eagles, rather than risk losing him to an overseas club for minimal compensation at the end of the season. This is what happened to them last summer when Louie Barry left for Barcelona.

There are other rumours, but the Ferguson deal appears to be the most concrete. One player that was expected to join Palace but is now seemingly heading elsewhere is Jarrod Bowen.

According to Sky Sports, the Eagles were in talks with Hull City over a £16m transfer plus add-ons for Bowen. Yet now the 23-year-old is heading to West Ham United to undergo a medical ahead of his move there.

West Ham will pay £20m for Bowen and personal terms have been agreed.
