Sheffield United are reportedly interested in signing Angers striker Stephane Bahoken.
A report from the Sunday Mirror (28/4; page 68) claims that the Blades are among four Championship clubs targeting Bahoken.
Aston Villa, Derby County and Swansea City are also keeping tabs on the Ligue 1 forward.
Bahoken has enjoyed a good season in France’s top flight, scoring 10 goals including five in his last 10 appearances.
What chance do the Blades have?

MORE UNITED STORIES
On Sunday it was confirmed that the Blades would be playing in the Premier League next season. That was because third-placed Leeds United only managed a draw at home against Villa.
With one game remaining Leeds trail Chris Wilder’s side by five points. Therefore, of the quartet keeping tabs on Bahoken, they are arguably the most attractive prospect.
However, both Villa and Derby are also in with a chance of joining the Blades in the top tier of English football. The former have confirmed their place in the playoffs, while the latter can take a big step towards doing the same if they win their game in hand against Swansea on Wednesday.
The Villans are preparing themselves to lose top scorer Tammy Abraham this summer. Abraham is on loan from Chelsea and is likely to want a Premier League move next term. Of course, if they were to be promoted via the playoffs, that could change things.
As for the Blades, they have just two strikers contracted to the club for next season – Billy Sharp and David McGoldrick. Gary Madine and Scott Hogan are on loan from Cardiff City and Villa respectively, while Conor Washington is out of contract this summer.
Wilder clearly wants at least four options upfront, if not five. It seems that Bahoken is on the wish list to join Sharp and McGoldrick among the attackers.
