Sheffield United goalkeeper, Jake Eastwood, will miss the first three months of the season after suffering an injury in his opening game with Kilmarnock.
The 23-year-old was taken off at half-time on his debut last weekend, after conceding a goal and then picking up a knock which has now seen him ruled out.

BBC Sport confirmed that Eastwood will miss up to 12 weeks, meaning Killie now have a search on their hands to land a new goalkeeper to cover that period.
The injury is a bitter blow for the 23-year-old, who will have been hoping to impress up in Scotland having seen Dean Henderson move back to Manchester United this summer.

The Blades are on the lookout to strengthen their goalkeeping department, with Ugurcan Cakir and Aaron Ramsdale among the names being mentioned. Michael Verrips and Simon Moore are both still with the club, too.

For Eastwood, though, it will be a long road back to recovery. The stopper will be hoping Kilmarnock give him another chance and he can get going once again around Christmas.
Sad news for Eastwood, he will have been hoping to impress to earn permanent move – Our View
There’s probably not much hope of Eastwood making it to the number one spot at Bramall Lane so this season was set to be a big one for the 23-year-old.
It is, then, sickening news for him that he’ll miss such a prolonged period of the season.
However, he’ll have the chance to bounce back with a bit of luck. Killie will, hopefully, not give up on him yet and even if they do, there’ll be a club around Christmas time who needs a goalkeeper no doubt.
