Styles has been impressive for Barnsley in the last 12 months and has made six appearances for Hungary since breaking into the national team. He won Barnsley’s young player of the season award last year and is see as one of the Reds’ top players.

And according to The Yorkshire Post, Sheffield United are among a cluster of teams keen on signing Styles. Other Championship clubs such as Stoke are also keen, while there is also interest from abroad for Styles.

However, any move from the Blades is likely to come down to players leaving, most notably, Sander Berge. The big Norwegian is expected to remain with United for now, barring any late change of heart or mammoth bids.

A move for Callum Styles, then, would seem unlikely at this stage for Sheffield United.
