In a day of twists and turns for Sheffield United and star midfielder Sander Berge, it appears the Norwegian might actually be staying put after all.
Reports throughout the day have claimed Berge is set to join Club Brugge, who are trying to prize the United star away from Bramall Lane with some low-ball offers. However, while there had even been talk that United had agreed to sign a replacement, it appears Berge is now staying.
According to Norwegian football expert and journalist, Arilas Ould-Saada, United have rejected all of the offers for Berge and the midfielder will now remain at Bramall Lane.

Saada has been right on things related to Berge in the past so his tweet can be taken with some seriousness by Blades fans late in the day.
Of course, things might still change and throughout the day there has been conflicting reports from different journalists around Europe as it is. Brugge clearly want Berge, but United’s stance has been clear and it appears Prince Abdullah has stuck to it.
Berge has been a standout player for United this season already with Paul Heckingbottom insisting he wanted to keep his man all along. As it stands, it looks like he might have got his wish.
