Sheffield United have already been live on TV seven times this season. Only four more Championship clubs have been on Sky Sports more.
In fact the Blades’ 1-1 draw with Ipswich Town last weekend was the first game in four so far in December when they weren’t televised.
Their home defeats to Leeds United and West Bromwich Albion, as well as the 2-0 victory at Reading, were all on TV prior to that.
In November the draws with Sheffield Wednesday and Rotherham United were also selected by Sky Sports. Their 1-1 stalemate with Derby County and opening day loss to Swansea City completes the list.
It seems United are a big draw in television terms, with the Rams having also been televised seven times so far in 2018/19.
The only sides ahead of them are Middlesbrough (8), Aston Villa (9), West Brom (10) and Leeds (11).

When are the Blades next on TV?
Matches on Sky Sports continue to come thick and fast for the Blades. The Boxing Day visit of Derby will also be shown on TV.
After that the trip to Swansea on January 19 and game at Villa have also been picked. The former will be played at 5.30pm as a result, while the latter has been moved to the evening of Friday, February 8.
It shows that United are a big draw for audiences watching at home, but unfortunately their form in these fixtures aren’t as positive.
Chris Wilder’s men have only won once in seven outings on the box. That was the win at the Madejski Stadium earlier this month.
United have suffered defeat in three matches when televised and have drawn the other three. It seems that the moving of kickoff times when televised does not favour them.
However, it is credit to the Blades and Wilder that they remain such an enticing prospect for Sky Sports. Now all they need to do is improve their results.
