Sheffield United take on Tottenham this weekend and for once, there could be some good news on the injury front for the Blades.
Paul Heckingbottom is already dealing with a number of knocks and fitness issues following promotion. It is an area the club want to look at more closely, following comments from Stephen Bettis on the situation.
However, it looks like United have received a welcome boost ahead of playing Spurs, with both Anel Ahmedhodzic and Rhian Brewster appearing to be back in some capacity.
Ahmedhodzic and Brewster return from injury for Sheffield United
There had been a worry over the fitness of key defender Ahmedhodzic after he missed international duty with Bosnia through a self-confessed hamstring problem.

Brewster, meanwhile, has been out of action since midway through last season and has not come close to returning.

However, spotted on a video released at the training ground by United’s social media team on Instagram, both Brewster and Ahmedhodzic can be seen taking to the training pitch in full kit, ready to go.
Both players can be seen getting ready to take part in what appears to be full training ahead of Spurs, with Brewster adding a ‘long time no see’ to the camerman.
Of course, Ahmedhodzic returning is the immediate boost for United. The defender is a massive presence for the Blades and will be needed this weekend.
Seeing Brewster just back, meanwhile, is another welcome boost. With a bit of luck, the former Liverpool man can get back and clear of injury and contribute as the season goes on.
Sheffield United News View: Good to see
United fans have got so used to injury news being bad in recent seasons that it’s actually nice to see a couple of players look ok.
The injury to Anel would have been a big worry for Paul Heckingbottom but it does appear that he’s over that one.
For Brewster, it’s all about just working his way back into proceedings and hopefully keeping fit. From there, he can gradually start to be involved and he gives United another option up top.
At the moment, with Daniel Jebbison out and potentially Will Osula as well, seeing Rhian back ‘on the grass’ feels like a big moment.
