Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder delivered a passionate speech in his post-match interview, following the loss to Manchester City.
Despite seeing his side lose, Wilder can take great credit from a superb week over the Pennines. A win at Old Trafford, coupled with conceding just the once against City, has bred new life into United’s campaign.
The Blades are still some way off survival and with just 17 games remaining, know that a big run is needed in order to even stand a chance of staying in the Premier League.
But Wilder’s comments yesterday have created a buzz. The Blades boss, clearly, getting his mojo back and giving his players his full backing.

That interview from Wilder caused plenty of Sheffield United fans to react themselves on Twitter. Like Wilder, so many Blades fans seem to think something is in the offing now from their club.
Wilder’s comments invited a number of similarly passionate comments from United fans. Some of who, it seems, have bought fully into what the gaffer has had to say about his team’s survival chances.
