'For his own good': Sheffield United fans discuss Aaron Ramsdale after another error against Plymouth

Sheffield United sneaked their way past Plymouth this afternoon with a 2-1 win at Bramall Lane in the FA Cup.

Billy Sharp’s well placed cross for Chris Basham gave United the lead before Sharp himself was on hand to make it 2-0 shortly after the break.

But Plymouth fought their way back into the game after a catologue of errors involving John Lundstram, Chris Basham, and Aaron Ramsdale allowed Panutche Camara to get one back. It set up a nervy finish and the Blades were happy to hear the final whistle in the end.

Once again, though, the discussion point was about the error from Ramsdale, who allowed the ball to roll under his body when it looked like it should have been a more than comfortable save for the Blades stopper.

Naturally, there was plenty of talk on Twitter about his performance and error, and some Blades fans think it’s time to see Michael Verrips or Wes Foderingham for the Manchester United game next week.

Without pinpointing some of the more harsh tweets on Ramsdale, here’s a look at some of the more level headed discussion when it come to the Blades stopper.
