Brooks has greatly impressed since his move to the Cherries from Sheffield United last summer. He scored his seventh Premier League goals of the season at the weekend in the 5-0 rout of Brighton and Hove Albion. Brooks also has five assists.
This fine form has clearly caught the eye of Newcastle, but they are not the first team to have taken a closer look at the 21-year-old.
The Sun reports that both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are considering £40m bids for Brooks. If the Wales international does leave the Vitality Stadium this summer, then the Blades will be set for a cash windfall.

When Brooks made the £11.5m switch to Dorset last July the Bournemouth Echo reported that United inserted a sell-on clause into the agreement.
This has become common practice at Bramall Lane. When Kyle Walker and Harry Maguire joined Manchester City and Leicester City respectively in 2017, the Blades profited.
As the BBC reported, they received 10 percent of the £45m paid for Walker and the £17m paid for Maguire because of sell-on clauses agreed when they were sold to Tottenham Hotspur and Hull City.
Therefore it figures that at least 10 percent will be included in the Brooks deal. However, it could be more – as shown by the Che Adams transfer.
While Walker left South Yorkshire in 2009 and Maguire in 2014, Adams was sold later in 2016. Birmingham paid £2m for the striker and Sky Sports reports there is a 20 percent clause in that deal.
This was after the Blues rejected a £12m offer from Burnley for Adams in January. Rumours persist that the 22-year-old – who has 22 Championship goals this season – will leave this summer.
So whether it is 10 or 20 percent, United should make a tidy profit if Brooks does indeed depart Bournemouth.
